New Orleans-based emcee Harn SOLO presents his sixth studio album Perfect Picture, produced entirely by young music talent Crescent Kingz. The album is Harn SOLO’s second full-length effort of 2013, already releasing a book of live rap instrumentation with Pro Prospek - Journey To The Sky. Moving from Los Angeles to New Orleans a few short years ago, Harn SOLO’s style has been gradually evolving into an untraditional, but perfect picture. Crescent Kingz soundtrack provides him with a unique opportunity to showcase a diverse range of vocals and song writing abilities. The nostalgic feel of 90s golden era hip-hop is felt in the music; however the artist reaches higher and experiments with dbl-time rap patterns, chants and catchy melodies, separating him from typical counterparts. Crediting New Orleans for his creative renaissance Nola.com says, “The musician is passionate about the community and its people, a love distinctly illustrated in his lyrics and the local images that are depicted in his music videos. Cleary, he seems to have found his soul in the Crescent City”. Beyond New Orleans Harn SOLO has expanded his horizons as an independent artist traveling to London, Amsterdam, Houston and Atlanta. His travels and persistence in the music industry have landed him performances with the likes of the Wu-Tang Clan, Skyzoo, Mickey Factz and Chase N. Cashe. Harn SOLO has also been featured for his music in New Orleans print sources Where Y’at Magazine and Offbeat Magazine.
