Watching the listening session when Gillie Da Kidd shows Will Smith a clip from a movie he starred in,"Brotherly Love", it's clear Gillie hasn't lost one second of creative energy. I have to take the "What's Beef?" stand on this one. This song is a declaration of what has been earned. Let's not forget when most of you who rock with a more lyrical approach stopped listening to Lil Wayne. "Gillie Da King" is keeping it OG to the bone. This music business can definitely be a chess game; but I doubt anybody in the industry views Gillie as a Patzer. Philly's reigning king hasn't castled, and doesn't appear to be shaken in the least. I missed whatever "beef" was supposed to be going on with Meek Mill; but I will say this: Write as many classic songs as this man, then step to the throne.
